Pollinators and Their Favorite Plants
Did you know there are hundreds of thousands of insect pollinators and about 2,000 species of bird pollinators globally? Yet with natural habitats shrinking, pollinators increasingly depend on our gardens for food and shelter. Our gardens matter more than we think. Learn about some of the hardest working pollinators in your garden and find out what their favorite plants are in our latest blog post!
Create Your Own Bonsai
We're thrilled to welcome The Bonsai Xperience for a hands-on class at West Seattle Nursery on July 25th, 1-3pm! Learn essential techniques and styles behind this ancient art form, then take home the bonsai tree you create. The class is $125 per person (one ticket per person, no +1s). Find more info and purchase tickets here!
Hydrangeas!

For certain varieties (like Hydrangea macrophylla), the flower color relies on the availability of aluminum in the soil, which is dictated by soil pH. There are over 70 recognized species, including shrubs, small trees, and climbing vines.
