During weekly work parties, small groups of volunteers help to prepare and maintain annual and perennial garden beds, tend to fruit trees, harvest produce, weed and mulch gardens at the Good Shepherd Center.

Celebrate the beauty of fall with a hands-on planting experience! Join us at West Seattle Nursery for a special Pot Your Own Fall Annuals event. We'll provide everything you need: plants, soil, and a plastic terracotta pot.
Green Seattle Day is happening on Saturday, October 25 and is an opportunity for community members to join local organizations in restoring Seattle's parks. This is a family-friendly, citywide planting event and no experience is necessary. Snacks, tools, and gloves provided on site.
