Ready to get your hands dirty and grow something delicious? Join us for a unique, hands-on class where you’ll learn how to make your own oyster mushroom growing kit and take it home with you!

Longtime West Seattle Nursery team member and passionate mushroom forager Connie will guide you through the fascinating world of fungi. With 27 years at the nursery and over a decade as a member of the Puget Sound Mycological Society, Connie brings a lifetime of mushroom knowledge and a love of teaching.

Older kids are welcome to register on their own, and younger children can join with a parent. It’s a fantastic, family-friendly way to explore the natural world, just before school kicks back in.
