Lynsey Boyle is a contemporary visual artist based in Seattle, Washington, celebrated for her richly expressive acrylic abstracts and emotionally resonant watercolor pet portraits. With a Fine Arts degree and over two decades of experience, Lynsey’s work explores the intersection of form, color, and emotion—offering bold vibrant energy in her paintings.
Her abstract acrylic pieces are a dynamic exploration of mood, memory, and movement. Influenced by the natural world, design, and the rhythm of everyday life, Lynsey uses layers of bold color, texture, and brushwork to create immersive pieces that invite reflection.
In contrast, her soulful watercolor pet portraits showcase her ability to distill deep emotional connection and personality through fine detail and softness. These portraits have become highly sought after for their ability to capture the spirit and individuality of beloved companions.
Lynsey spent 15 years as a resident artist in Texas, exhibiting extensively in Dallas and Austin. Her work has been featured in galleries, private collections, and interior design projects, often serving as the finishing touch in thoughtfully curated spaces. Her longstanding collaborations with interior designers speak to her versatility and understanding of how art enhances and transforms an environment.
Now calling Seattle home, Lynsey is an active part of the city’s vibrant creative community. She currently works at Chihuly Garden and Glass and West Seattle Nursery, where she draws daily inspiration from both glass art and the botanical world. She shares her studio life with her creative sidekick, Luna Moonshine.
Lynsey is preparing for her upcoming solo show during the West Seattle Art Walk, where she’ll unveil a new collection that unites her abstract explorations with her love for expressive offerings and a colorful, heartfelt window into her evolving artistic journey.
Lynsey’s contemporary acrylic works explore joy, nostalgia, and inner light—most recently in her Neon Corner Collection, a series infused with optimism, saturated color, and multiple layers. Her work reflects her bright, happy personality and her deep belief to find beauty in everyday life. Passionate, joyful, and deeply connected to her craft, she is dedicated to creating artwork that reflects beauty, belonging, and emotional truth.
