WS Art Walk at West Seattle Nursery

  • West Seattle Nursery & Garden Center 5275 California Avenue SW Seattle, WA 98136 United States (map)

Join us for West Seattle Art Walk on September 10th from 5-8PM at West Seattle Nursery! We'll be celebrating the work of two of our very own: Lynsey Boyle, known for her vibrant acrylics and watercolor pet portraits, and Loretta of Valley of Stoneware, whose pottery and ceramics we're so excited to share. Music comes courtesy of the West Seattle Ukulele Players starting at 5:30PM. We can't wait to celebrate community, art, and music together!

Lynsey Boyle
Lynsey Boyle is a contemporary visual artist based in Seattle, celebrated for her richly expressive acrylic abstracts and soulful watercolor pet portraits. With a Fine Arts degree and over two decades of experience, her work explores color, form, and emotion, drawing inspiration from plants, her dog Luna Moonshine, and everyday life in West Seattle.

Her latest series, Shadow & Light, captures the quiet magic of light and shadow moving through the natural world — a joyful, expressive celebration of the love found in everyday moments. Now calling Seattle home after 15 years as a resident artist in Texas, Lynsey works at Chihuly Garden and Glass and West Seattle Nursery, where she draws daily inspiration from both glass art and the botanical world.

Loretta Philp — Valley of Stoneware
Loretta is a 20 year old local artist from West Seattle, whose passion for pottery and plants inspires much of what she creates. She's an undergraduate studying Landscape Architecture but spends her spare time at the wheel, creating ceramics, bonsai pots, and mixed-media wall sculptures — pieces that pair recycled scrap metal with delicate stoneware, both playing with simple geometric forms. In her work, Loretta loves exploring the connection between plants, art, and the beauty of handmade and found objects.
