We're thrilled to announce that our Spring Open House will serve as the launch event for Nosegay Gardens, the new small business from our very own Chelsea! Many of you have met or learned from Chelsea through our videos, and now she's becoming Seattle's newest wholesale grower. Stop by to shop her specialty roses, hydrangeas, heirloom chrysanthemums, perennials, and more.
We're also delighted to welcome Lori Kothe, author of the picture book Birds Near My Home in the City by the Sea. Lori will be signing copies in the Garden Center, the perfect gift for young bird enthusiasts!
And rounding out the day, we're excited to welcome back Washington Bee Atlas. Washington Bee Atlas is on a mission to identify and map the state's wild bees, and they're looking for volunteers. Stop by to learn why wild bees are essential to our ecosystems, how to identify local pollinators, and ways to get involved in pollinator conservation.
